Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Another Love ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Another Love (the "Company"). We may update these terms from time to time — continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must complete age verification before accessing the Service.
• You must not be prohibited from using such services by any applicable law.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

3. The Service

Another Love provides AI-powered companion experiences including text conversations, AI-generated images, and text-to-speech audio. Our companions are entirely AI-generated — they are not real people and should not be understood as such.

The Service includes built-in wellbeing features, including companion check-ins during extended sessions and mandatory breaks after prolonged use. These are designed to promote healthy usage and form part of our safeguarding commitments. See our Safeguarding page for full details.

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@anotherlove.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• All chat messages are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Another Love staff cannot read your conversations. Messages are only decrypted in response to a lawful request from a law enforcement authority or court order.

5. Subscriptions and coins

Another Love operates on a subscription and coin model:

• Free accounts receive a one-time coin grant on signup.
• Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Monthly coin grants are issued at the start of each billing period. Unused coins do not roll over to the next month.
• Coin top-up packages are non-refundable once purchased.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.

6. Adult content

Adult (NSFW) content is available to all age-verified users of Another Love. By accessing the Service you confirm:

• You are 18 or over and have completed age verification.
• You are accessing this content for personal use only.
• Such content is legal in your jurisdiction.

All AI-generated content involves fictional characters. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to use the Service if you are under 18.
• Use the Service to facilitate or promote illegal activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent age verification, content restrictions, subscription limits, or session wellbeing features.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our team.

Our platform automatically monitors messages for prohibited content including illegal material, child safety concerns, and serious harm. Flagged content is reviewed and may result in immediate account suspension and referral to the appropriate authorities.

8. Intellectual property

All content on Another Love — including character designs, names, personalities, generated images, and copy — is owned by or licensed to the Company. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Conversational content you generate through the Service is yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Another Love is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

The Service is for entertainment and companionship purposes. It is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis helpline.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice.

On termination, your access to the Service ends immediately. Coin balances and subscription benefits are forfeited on termination for breach.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
