Another Love is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all users. This page explains where to get help and mental health support if you need it, and how we protect our users.

AI companions and your wellbeing

Another Love's companions are AI — not humans. Every character is entirely fictional. No real person is on the other side of your conversation.

If you ever feel uncertain about this, or if a conversation has started to feel confusing or overwhelming, that is completely understandable.

Healthy use looks like: enjoying the connection as entertainment and exploration, while maintaining your real-world life and relationships.

If your use of Another Love is negatively affecting your real-world life and relationships, we recommend you take a break, or delete your account.

Consider contacting one of the mental health services above, or talking to a person you trust if you notice that you are:

Thinking about a companion constantly when away from the app
Withdrawing from real friendships or relationships
Spending more money on the app than you are comfortable with
Feeling significant distress when the app is unavailable
Having difficulty distinguishing the AI relationship from a real one

Our safeguarding commitments

18+ only. All users must complete age verification via ACCS-certified provider Go.cam, before accessing the platform.
AI transparency. All companions are AI. Another Love characters disclose this clearly when users ask, and make it clear that their interactions are fantasy.
Harmful content prevention. Our platform actively monitors for content that depicts or encourages harm, illegal activity, or the sexualisation of minors. Prohibited terms are automatically flagged for investigation and may result in immediate account suspension.
No real people. All companions are AI-generated fictional characters. No real individuals are involved in companion interactions.
No data exploitation. We do not use personal data for targeted advertising, or sell or share it with any third party.
Data encryption. All chat messages are encrypted and cannot be read by Another Love staff. Messages are only decrypted in response to a lawful request from law enforcement or a legal authority.
Wellbeing signposting. Where conversations suggest a user may be in distress, our platform is designed to direct them to real-world support.
Session wellbeing check-ins. After one and two hours of continuous use, companions gently encourage users to take a break and reconnect with their real-world life. After three hours, a mandatory 10-minute break is enforced, with a single skip option available once per session. After five hours, a dedicated platform notice is shown with signposting to relevant mental health helplines. After six hours, chat access is paused for a mandatory 30-minute break, enforced even if the user refreshes or returns to the app.
Built-in safeguarding features. Our platform includes automatic content flagging, encrypted message storage, age-gated content tiers, mandatory AI identity disclosure, and session-based wellbeing interventions.

Child safety

Another Love operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding minors. We do not permit anyone under 18 to use the platform. All characters on Another Love are AI-generated adults. We do not permit any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors in any form.

If our system detects requests for, or mentions of, any such content, it will be flagged for investigation and the user's account will be automatically suspended. If we find it to be a mistake, the user's account will be reactivated. If we find any content that breaks our guidelines, the account will be permanently deleted after preservation of evidence, and referral to the appropriate authorities if necessary.

Reporting concerns

If you encounter content on Another Love that you believe is harmful, illegal, or in breach of our terms, please report it to us immediately.

Legal compliance

Another Love is committed to complying with applicable laws, including California, Texas, Utah, and other US state online safety legislation, and the UK Online Safety Act 2023. Our obligations include:
