We built Another Love around privacy. We collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and your conversations belong to you. This policy explains exactly what we do and why.
Another Love ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at anotherlove.app and the companion app at app.anotherlove.app. We are the data controller for personal data collected through these services.

Age verification is performed by Go.cam, a third-party service. Go.cam uses a brief live video check to estimate your age. No biometric data is stored by Go.cam or by us — the verification produces only a pass/fail result. See Go.cam's privacy policy for details.
We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with the following service providers, strictly for operating the platform.
Message encryption: All chat messages are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored. Another Love staff cannot read your conversations through the database. Messages are only decrypted in response to a lawful request from a law enforcement authority or court order.
Content flagging: Our platform automatically scans messages for terms associated with illegal activity, child safety concerns, and serious harm. Where a match is found, the encrypted message is flagged for review. This is a safeguarding measure and the content remains encrypted at rest.

Some of our service providers process data on servers outside the UK and EU. Specifically, xAI (AI chat), ElevenLabs (voice), and ModelsLab (image generation) are US-based companies. When your messages or content are processed by these services, that constitutes an international transfer of personal data under UK/EU GDPR. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all such transfers — in practice, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms approved by the ICO and European Commission.
Supabase stores data in EU-based servers. Cloudflare operates globally but offers UK/EU data residency options which we utilise where available.
Another Love is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We use age verification to enforce this. If we become aware that a person under 18 has created an account, we will immediately delete it and all associated data.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
